A novel DNA-based key scrambling technique for image encryption

Abstract Nowadays, data are the most valuable content in world. In age of big data, we generating quintillions daily form text, image, video, etc. Among them, images highly used communications. Various types images, e.g., medical military confidential. But, due to vulnerabilities, transmitting such a secured way is great challenge. For this reason, researchers proposed different image cryptography algorithms. Recently, biological deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA)-based concepts getting popular for ensuring security as well encryption they show good performance. However, these DNA-based methods have some limitations, not dynamic and their performance results far from ideal values. Further, usually involve two steps, confusion diffusion. Confusion increases huge time complexity needs send one or more additional map tables with cipher decrypt message. research, propose novel efficient key scrambling technique that addresses above limitations. We evaluate our method using 15 datasets achieved superior scores entropy, keyspace, pixel correlations, variance histogram, PSNR. The experimental can be high level confidentiality.
